It is also the first electrified AMG E-Class to be offered in India, giving the familiar E-Class formula a decisively more contemporary edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What makes this launch notable is not only the car itself, but the strategy it represents. Just weeks before the E 53 Hybrid 4MATIC+ arrived, Mercedes-Benz India introduced the S 450e plug-in hybrid in the country, signalling a broader willingness to use PHEVs as a bridge between conventional combustion luxury cars and full EVs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An AMG, redefined<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the heart of the car is a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-petrol engine working alongside an electric motor integrated into the transmission.
