That is likely to fall to around Rs 7.59 crore once the India-EU free trade agreement takes effect, and Ferrari dealers have been taking orders at the lower, FTA-linked price since May 2026, with delivery tied to the deal. As a car, it’s the most usable Ferrari yet: four doors, four seats, a 473-litre boot, 185mm of ground clearance and a 725hp naturally aspirated V12 that Autocar India rates as the reason to buy one. As a purchase, the question in late 2026 is less “is it good” than “when, and are you allowed to buy one”.

Ferrari Purosangue price in India

Ex-showroom price

Source

Launch price (deliveries began early 2024)

Rs 10.50 crore

Autocar Professional, 2 March 2024

Price before the India-EU FTA

Rs 10.50 crore

Autocar India, 18 May 2026

Estimated price after the FTA

Rs 7.59 crore

Autocar India, 18 May 2026

All figures are before options, which on a Ferrari can add a great deal.

Here’s how the FTA pricing works, as Autocar India reported it in May 2026. Import duty on European cars of this price currently sits at 110 percent. Under the agreement, it is set to fall to about 35 percent in the first year and to 10 percent in later years. Dealers are accepting Purosangue orders at the estimated post-FTA price, but the car will only be delivered once the FTA’s details are clear, and buyers who take delivery before the agreement comes into force won’t get the lower price. The final figure will also depend on the euro-rupee rate.

Timing is the catch. India and the EU concluded negotiations on 27 January 2026. As of 28 October 2026, Germany’s ambassador to India said he hoped the agreement would be signed by the end of this year, after which it still needs ratification by the European Parliament. Autocar India expects the FTA to take effect in 2027. So a lower-price order placed now is a bet on that timeline.

Only pure-petrol cars benefit at first, which suits the Purosangue’s V12. Hybrid treatment is unclear, according to Autocar India.

What it’s like: the Purosangue reviewed

We haven’t driven the Purosangue on Indian roads. What follows draws on Autocar India’s first drive, published in March 2023 after a test on autoroutes and snowy mountain roads in the Dolomites, and on Ferrari’s own technical data.

The engine is the point. The 6.5-litre V12 makes 725cv at 7,750rpm and 716Nm, and Ferrari says 80 percent of that torque is available from just 2,100rpm. It drives all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox mounted at the rear. Ferrari claims 0-100kph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of more than 310kph. Autocar India called it one of the last great naturally aspirated V12s, quiet at low revs and spectacular at the top.

It rides far better than a Ferrari should. The suspension uses Multimatic’s True Active Spool Valve (TASV) system, which adjusts each damper quickly with small electric motors. Autocar India found the ride comfortable even on 22- and 23-inch wheels, and the handling balanced and adjustable for a car weighing about two tonnes (Ferrari quotes a 2,033kg dry weight with optional lightweight parts, and a 49:51 front-to-rear weight split).

It’s usable, within limits. The rear doors are rear-hinged and electrically operated, which makes getting into the back easy. The boot holds 473 litres, Ferrari’s largest ever. But it’s strictly a four-seater, and Autocar India found the rear seats firmer than ideal for daily use.

The interior tech is the weak spot. Autocar India’s reviewer disliked the many touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel, including the start button, and found the air-con controller unintuitive. There’s no built-in navigation; you use phone mirroring instead. Rear visibility is limited by a small rear window with no wiper, which he doubted would cope well with monsoon grime.

Autocar India scores the Purosangue 7 out of 10, with top marks for performance and its lowest score for value.

Is the Purosangue right for Indian roads?

Better than any Ferrari before it. Ground clearance is 185mm as standard, and the optional lift system raises it to about 215mm, according to Autocar India. That takes much of the anxiety out of speed breakers and steep basement ramps, which rule out most supercars as daily drivers in Indian cities. The four doors also make it a Ferrari that can be chauffeur-driven or used for the school run, which Autocar India’s reviewer saw as a strong fit for how Indian luxury buyers already use Porsche and Lamborghini SUVs.

It isn’t an off-roader, though. Treat it as a raised four-door GT, not a Range Rover.

How it compares with rival ultra-luxury SUVs

SUV

Ex-showroom price in India

Powertrain

Bentley Bentayga EWB

From Rs 4.20 crore

V8 petrol

Lamborghini Urus SE

Rs 4.57 crore

V8 plug-in hybrid

Aston Martin DBX707

Rs 5.89 crore

V8 petrol

Ferrari Purosangue

Rs 10.50 crore (about Rs 7.59 crore expected after the FTA)

V12 petrol

Rival prices from Autocar India listings, October 2026, as used in our Lamborghini Urus SE review.

Even at the post-FTA price, the Purosangue costs well over Rs 1.5 crore more than any rival here. What that buys is the only V12 in the group, and a Ferrari badge with a waiting list.

Can you actually buy one?

This is the part most price articles skip. When the Purosangue launched in India in early 2024, Autocar Professional reported that order books were closed well into 2026, with existing Ferrari customers served first and first-time Ferrari buyers later. Autocar India’s review also noted that Ferrari intends the Purosangue to make up only about 20 percent of its total production. Autocar India’s buying page still lists the difficulty of getting one without a history with the brand as a drawback.

In plain terms: if you’ve never owned a Ferrari, expect to be asked about your relationship with the brand, and expect to wait. Talk to the official dealer before you get attached to a colour.

Also watch the model cycle. Bloomberg reported in March 2026 that Ferrari is developing a sharper-handling performance version of the Purosangue, with production reportedly due to start in the second half of 2026. Ask the dealer what your build slot will be and whether a newer version is coming before you commit.

Ownership: what to expect after delivery

Maintenance is included for seven years. Ferrari’s Genuine Maintenance Programme covers scheduled servicing for the car’s first seven years, with service every 20,000km or once a year and no mileage limit, according to Ferrari. That removes the biggest running-cost worry for the first owner, and it carries real value for the second.

The service network is small but growing. Ferrari is sold through official dealers in the major metros. In March 2025, dealer Select Cars opened what it called the first official Ferrari service centre in South India, in Bengaluru, with Ferrari-trained technicians and Ferrari Approved pre-owned certification. If you live far from a dealer city, ask how servicing and breakdown support will work before you buy.

Fuel and tyres are real costs. A two-tonne car with a 725hp V12 and 22- or 23-inch wheels will not be cheap to run. Autocar India’s mileage score for the Purosangue is 5 out of 10. Budget for tyres in particular, and keep the car’s ground clearance in mind on bad roads.

Insurance and registration. These add a large sum on top of the ex-showroom price, and they scale with it. Use our on-road price calculator and get insurance quotes for your city before you finalise.

Resale. There’s too little Indian resale data on the Purosangue to quote a figure. On 30 October 2026, Motozite’s pre-owned Ferrari listings showed no Purosangue. The FTA matters here too: if new prices fall by close to Rs 3 crore, cars bought at the old price will be valued against the new one. Anyone selling a pre-FTA Purosangue after the deal takes effect should expect that.

Our verdict

The Purosangue is the Ferrari that finally makes sense as an everyday car in India: four doors, real ground clearance, a comfortable ride and one of the best engines on sale. Its weak points are the fiddly controls, firm rear seats and a price that, today, is more than double its rivals’.

Our advice on timing is simple. Unless you need the car before the FTA takes effect, don’t take delivery at Rs 10.50 crore. Place an order at the FTA-linked price if your dealer offers it and you’re comfortable with the uncertain timeline, and use the wait to confirm your build slot and whether the performance version changes your mind. If you already own a Ferrari, you’re at the front of the queue anyway. If you don’t, start the conversation with the dealer now.

For the bigger picture on the brand, read our history of Ferrari.

FAQs

What is the price of the Ferrari Purosangue in India?

The Purosangue costs Rs 10.50 crore ex-showroom before options. Autocar India estimates it will fall to about Rs 7.59 crore once the India-EU FTA takes effect, and dealers have been taking orders at that lower price since May 2026, with delivery tied to the agreement. Final pricing depends on the FTA terms and the euro-rupee rate.

When will the Ferrari Purosangue price drop in India?

Only once the India-EU free trade agreement comes into force. Negotiations concluded in January 2026, signing was expected by the end of 2026 as of late October, and Autocar India expects the deal to take effect in 2027. Cars delivered before then are billed at the current price.

Is the Ferrari Purosangue an SUV?

Ferrari calls it a four-door, four-seater, and Autocar India describes it as more a raised coupe than a true SUV. It has 185mm of ground clearance (about 215mm with the optional lift), all-wheel drive and a 473-litre boot, but it isn’t built for off-road use.

What engine does the Ferrari Purosangue have?

A naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 producing 725cv and 716Nm, driving all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Ferrari claims 0-100kph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed over 310kph. It is not a hybrid.

How long is the waiting period for the Ferrari Purosangue in India?

Ferrari doesn’t publish one. At launch in 2024, order books were reported closed well into 2026, with existing Ferrari owners served first. Production is limited to about 20 percent of Ferrari’s output, so first-time Ferrari buyers should expect a long wait.

Is the Ferrari Purosangue practical for daily use in India?

More than any Ferrari before it. Rear-hinged doors make the back seats easy to reach, ground clearance handles speed breakers, and the ride is comfortable. The rear seats are firm, it seats only four, and rear visibility is limited, so try it with your family before you commit.

The Ferrari Purosangue costs Rs 10.50 crore ex-showroom in India today, before options.
